The only reason I haven’t upgraded to a newer model STI is because I would have to give up the storage room of my ‘09 hatch. Now they’re going to make it even smaller. Great.

Napster didn’t exist until 2001, and CD burners were barely affordable in 1999... let alone 1996? C’mon man. I paid 300 bucks for a burner in 1999 and blanks were still 3 bucks a piece.

I bought a CD burner when I was a senior in highschool (1999.. same age) and made money burning custom mix-CDs for other kids at school, because I was the only one that could.

My only problem is that they were always so cheap, cable and connector wise that they would wear out really quickly. I’ve burned through at least 4 of them over the years just because the connector wears out or the flimsy cable pinches or pulls free.
