YES, FINALLY! For a while there I was worried this whole revival trend would pass with a new Shaq Fu but no Deadwood.
That wasn't in an environment where shows were being revived left and right though. There's reason to be more optimistic now.

Yeah, like I said in my last post, all the increasingly sophisticated ostensible kids' shows from this decade are the closest thing I've seen to the sort of trend the others in this thread are talking about.
The line is obviously going to be sort of arbitrary no matter where we draw it, but I'd say a show would have to have debuted in the past few years if we're going to call it part of a trend, and that a show going on seven seasons can safely be called "older." I'm wary of using older shows that are still going strong…

Is adult TV animation making a comeback? Other than Rick & Morty and BoJack Horseman I'm struggling to think of any recent successes. And FOX's attempt to make their own Adult Swim-esque block pretty much fizzled out. And Cassius and Clay was just preemptively cancelled.
