Wasn’t CHAdeMO developed to become the industry standard? Seems like now it is not really used at all....

I remember back when the fiat 500 was introduced to Canada, I went to test drive one... it took the sales person six attempts to find a car that would actually start... apparently the other 5 had dead batteries.... dead NEW batteries.

Personally I prefer Fix It Again Tony.... but you know....

i listen to the radio all the time.

You also cannot deny how craptacular the car was.....

It is a beautiful car... but at that age and milage I am not 100% convinced the value proposition is there... CP.

Honda was definately in the style game back in the 80's....

At the end of the day, does it really matter what class of vehicle people buy? There will always be a ‘Flavour of the Month’ which will gravitate people towards it.  Eventually the common “crossover” will be outclasses by something radically different and will have the retirement stable as the common station wagon or

Mitsubishi Outlanders (in Canada at least) start at $30000

In Canada, no deal like that be had... a 2019 Spark LS FDW Stick Shift is:

That is fine and dandy about the USA... but what about CANADA????

Rock Auto has a Canadian site????

The argument above is most likely similar to the argument of why buy a minivan when a wagons could do more in the past. Old wagons could seat almost as many as a mini van... had TONS of cargo capacity, could tow Fort Knox for days... but drank gas like it was going out of style. Mini vans came onto the scene tooting

Is it possible that Fuel Economy is something that a Crossover / SUV might have as an advantage over a typical minivan?  Sure gas costs under $2 a galon in the USA, but this is not the case for other parts of the world.... Maybe a Crossover can give you a slight edge in that regard?

Chrysler may not have “invented” the mini-van, BUT their creative packaging and marketing made them cool and pushing to into the Vehicle de-jour essentially making wagons extinct. Sadly, today minivans hold the same stigma as the original Wagon Queen Family Truckster....

Volvo and Saab back in those days separated the running lamps from the brake lamps. Both brands made sure to offset the brake and the running lamp so that the brake lamp was highly visable. Take a look at an early SAAB 900...

FCA cars have done this for a while.... I think other manufacturers are catching up.  I understand the reason, but people still do not know the difference between DRL’s and standard headlights... ugh.

In thi case, Amber Red and clear just don’t look good....

22 light bulbs huh?  Daaaaammmnn.... hope that car came with a heavy duty alternator!!

The downside to those otherwise amazing tail lamps is that you only have one brake lamp active if you turn on your signal.  It is a bit better though than the flashy red signals with the same problem.
