Hemsworth has consistently been one of the most appealing aspects of the entire MCU. I’m sure he’s probably right about everyone having too good a time, but the biggest problem with Love and Thunder is clearly some people deciding (as is typical) that their shit don’t stink.

I mean, half the problem with this movie (and Ragnarok) was that they absolutely blew the reveals in the trailers.

Blame Taika Waititi...he wrote and directed this one as opposed to only directing the previous one. Like Snyder, don’t let him near the writing room.

He’s not wrong. It was everything about the movie, rather than him specifically, but he’s spot on about why Love and Thunder didn’t work. Everyone involved just got too caught up in the fun of making it and pushed it too far into silliness.

This shows that he takes personal pride in everything he does, and I can respect that. There was a lot of wasted potential in that movie.

I got where you were coming from until you called the first Avenger movie an incredible slog you could not get trough in one sitting. That one boggles my mind.

The MCU’s biggest flaw is that it recapitulates all the weaknesses of post-’60s superhero comics in addition to their strengths. If you’re a regular reader, then yes, after a while all of the crossovers begin to feel tedious, and the big changes don’t amount to much, and keeping track of the various plot and character

Nobody wanted this show , even I suspect Mindy Kaling, who would probably rather she could have made an original show rather than have to try and stretch the skin of an existing IP over her ideas.

I don’t think we’re getting another season. Max dropped all ten episodes like they were burning them off where season one was released weekly. I haven’t watched all of season two yet, but season one was a very weird show. I’m guessing season two was produced right after season one was finished. A lot of current

This feels like one of those things where a show or movie that barely anyone watches “raises a middle finger to its haters” to give the impression that anyone is actually still talking about it. I haven’t heard anything about this show since like the first week it came out.

Or you could agree in writing that they don’t need a warrant, and can search your phone, among other things you own, any time they want to.

If your safe had a face-recognition lock on it, it’s not their fault they found it wide open after they dragged you in front of it.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.

“I don’t engage in criminal activity” - neither do a lot of POC pulled over by cops; or check out the stories about police seizing cash from innocent people.

For those concerned about this, just stop using phones (anything Apple, Samsung, etc), alexa (anything Amazon), Chrome, IE, Android Auto, Apple Car Play...so on and so forth.  There are some folks in Pennsylvania that can help bring you up to speed.

Thank you. This whole “biometrics are the answer to security” press that the industry is going through is just inexplicable to me. You literally leave copies of your fingerprints everywhere you go, *including on the device you’re supposedly securing with it.*. Face Unlock has been fooled by masks and pictures.

watched last night, pretty decent. Dastmalchian was great, the actor playing the possessed girl as well.

Ooh, yeah, that’s a pretty uncanny resemblance.
