I will say Chevy Chase being an asshole was used to brilliant effect on the show at times, particularly in the D&D episode

Sure but just vote Biden in November and you won’t have to actually worry about any of this.
Wait a sec, is Castle Rock still around? WOW!
Generally true, but an exception must be made for The Player.
You have to wonder how the morale is at The Daily Show. I can’t be the only one who watches the Jon Stewart episodes pretty quickly after they are available, while I sample and decide whether to watch the others sometime during the week. I wouldn’t be surprised if the ratings for Jon Stewart’s episodes are multiples…
I maintain that the in-character DVD commentary qualifies as a full sequel and this upcoming film will complete the trilogy.
The amount of famous people cameoing in a film is inversely proportional to how good that film is.
Oh fuck all the way off twice. Emma Stone did nothing wrong.
Scorsese’s epic was undoubtedly one of the best films of the year.
Perhaps because I’m a bit older, but I wouldn’t mind if “In Memoriam” was longer than 5 minutes. I feel like there’s always someone I didn’t realize was gone, and I also feel like they deserve their time.
It’s sad but I bet this is one of the most ‘enjoyable’ parts of the broadcast. Or at least an oft-viewed segment. A couple more minutes to honor people properly would not be out of line. The worst part is this is one of the -better- presentations...
Yeah, just because they weren’t famous doesn’t make them “losers.”
Some of those are pretty notable, not gonna lie. The problem was compounded by setting this to an actual song, which I never like because it really limits them to the finite amount of time of that single song. (By contrast, instrumental background music can be played on an extended loop if need be.) And what made it…
I think we’re approaching the Pop Culture Singularity. With everything equally available with a click of a button, and the market so segmented that there isn’t really a market any more, then there is no present, no past, no future. Just playlists.
And yet it was nominated for Sound, traditionally the worst technical aspect of a Nolan film.
