The main problem with the movie was it was ugly as sin, that’s not entirely Howard’s fault but the reshoots didn’t help (they had to do shots on partial reconstructed sets which means a lot of tight, awkward closeups.) Like the poster is these bold purple and yellow shades which are almost nowhere in the film itself.

I don’t even know if it’s her fault. All of the acting in these first two episodes is pretty bad except for the three returning Star Wars actors and Leia’s mom. Every time a character spoke it just felt cringe.

I don’t think she is a very good actor to be honest.

This show feels a lot cheaper than I would have expected, there’s some real cable tv series stuff going on.

She’s the weak spot of the show for me, but I blame the director and/or the casting department.

Its original purpose is being freighter, so it was just for shuttling cargo around and didn’t need amazing visibility. Later it got repurposed and retro-fitted with guns and stuff.

It would have been nice if they had given some indication WHY the Inquisitors were so  lackadaisical about actually going for the kill. Maybe they want to take Jedi alive for questioning or to turn them? It would be nice to have some reason why they just let them run away without chasing when they have him

The whole premise is played out and the fandom bullshit is boring. Wake me when they finally do a decent Earthsea show.

Star Wars villains, hammy? Heaven forfend!

Agreed. Old fans were used to three years between films, sequel fans were used to two years between saga installments, and Solo dropped five months after Last Jedi.

And they did this... during the day?

Reva is good so far, but I’m not exactly enamored with her yet. I think I’ll be much more interested once we find out her motivation; presumably she was abandoned by Kenobi after the purge and has… feelings about it.

DON’T THINK ABOUT THE EVENT!

“six crab-like legs [and a] sphincter-like mouth ringed with razor sheep teeth.”

She’s easily the worst part of the show.

Really think they should go with an unknown for Ben or let Tom Scharpling voice a CG Ben.  Ben needs a proper NY accent and be played by a proper curmudgeon.

Joe Keery is your Torch casting. They need to cast a little younger for Johnny. They are a family not a team of friends. Johnny is the annoying younger brother and should read similar to Peter Parker in age. One of the many flaws in those terrible FF movies.

For a second I thought it was Marillion drummer Ian Mosley.

“It’s insane, this guy’s taint...”
