I am convinced the Spurs tanked the game last night in order to keep Golden St from resting the last 3 games. GS has been looking a bit weary the last few weeks and they could use a break, mentally as much as physically. Anyone else and I’d dismiss it, but with Pops I believe it.

this late in the season, an extra day or two off isn’t going to do much for them. The Popovich system of resting throughout the entire season is when this becomes a benefit. At this point, he should just pull back their minutes some, but keep them active.
