@Dave Hodgkinson: damn, and I was just about to commend the author on spelling it right the first time :|

@busydoingnothing: Although half of those are perfect examples of how NOT to do things.

@busydoingnothing: I get you there; as a photographer I really enjoy good cinematography. But I can't watch NEW movies because I'm not sure if it'll be worthwhile. I will, however, put something awesome in the background while I am actually working. The Duellists has been that for me recently because Ridley Scott has

@ryoshi: Ditto. I wish You could just have a super-widescreen tv that would scroll an RSS feed or something on one side. So when you're not paying attention to the movie, you can at least read stuff.

I worked at a coffee roaster for a while, and we used to use one of these:

Am I the only one that feels guilty when I just watch TV or a movie? I always feel the need to be doing something productive during the 1-3 hours spent sitting on the couch watching something.

Of course this is true...for a desktop environment. I want to see how trackpads stand up to each other. I want an epic duel: nipplemouse vs. trackpad vs. netbook trackpad vs. multitouch trackpad. But, I think we all know that the multitouch trackpad will win.

I've noticed this a few times in lifehacker posts: When you write "eek" in a sentence where it means something along the lines of, "to scrape by," the spelling is actually "eke." "Eek" is the sound you make when you squeal.

I just wish I could smoke a cigar in my office. I'd get so much more work done...

@mike_le: no way! $1.50 fortified "wine" is 13+%/750ml bottle at the liquor store. Cheap vodka is at least $8/handle.

@geekymitch: Are they still backordered? I have wanted one of those since they first showed up, but when you consider that it is almost 1/2 the price of the phone...not so much anymore.

well great, now they're encouraging those assholes who walk around with their phone on speaker, or even worse, with their phone playing music.

@SkipErnst: There are old (er) camera models that have 20+ megapixel sensors now. Hasselblad (I know, different sensor size) has had a 50 megapixel model shipping for years. Luckily, people are realizing that megapixels don't mean shit. The real decider is always the photographer, then the lens, then the camera. And

@RomanForest: sure, but when I have $99,000 lying around once, I'm buying that thing from B&H.

@szrimaging: It is APS-H, so smaller than 35mm. If they started making medium format digital backs, then I would want it, but not afford it. Now, I don't really care.

My 3gs runs slower on 4 than it did on 3.1.3, so lets see if this makes it a little snappier.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: One of my past roommates named everything he owned after b-list movie stars. My network is called "Tony Danza"

I really like listening to his voice.

@JakeMG: Ω Man: Okay, obviously you have had a lot of replies, so I'll keep this one short.

@geolemon: Well, if it is intended for the enterprise market...price doesn't really matter. It'll just be about making the IT department like it because they can set it up their way, and the managers thinking, "I can get the company to buy me an ipad!"
