This film is an absolute trainwreck, but an enjoyable one nonetheless. You just never know what it's going to do from one minute to the next: it's a revenge tale, homecoming drama, tragic love story, outback fashion show, murder mystery. I've probably forgotten a few more genres it smushes together in there. But once

Two to add to this list: First Wives Club and Marvin's Room.

9 to 5 was a superhero movie.

On Golden Pond is the best action film on 1981. C'mon, there's a house fire and a boat crash and feelings.

What ever will become…of this remake?

So even the makers of big, stupid Hollywood blockbusters understand that this bullshit is just all about the insecure male ego. I'm sure it will be lost on most of the audience; one to miss anyway by the sounds of it.

Oof, tried to rewatch Ally McBeal recently - got four episodes in and gave up. It's bad. Really bad. The 90s were not kind to Single Female Lawyers.

"After Frankie’s boys make her feel old, she picks up whittling."

Those ladders. Towels.

'Milikowsky emphasizes Everytown For Gun Safety’s desire not to “take all your guns away” but to keep them out of the hands of “terrorists and rapists.”'

That final beach sequence in this movie. Utterly, utterly brilliant.

Agreed.

Sarah Paulson as Marcia Cross? I would watch the shit out of that show.

Oof, this looks like White Nonsense. I feel like Amy ditched Will, he moved to a sad divorcee's pad, tried to hang with the cool kids for a while and thought 'you know what? There might be a show in this…'

You had me at "the occasional sight of Ferguson in a Chicago Police Department uniform."

The First Wives Club is the best fucking movie ever made. And this new bullshit TV series can go fuck itself.

For me, this film was an A. While I agree with this review that there is little nuance in the psychology behind the performances (Fassbender and Cotillard play it balls out crazy right from the off), I thought they were both astounding - they give Cotillard a nice twist on Lady M's sleepwalking scene in a single shot

The V. Gay Club

He was all over Haleh.

Meryl did give good tit-flash in Silkwood.
