To be fair, in the early eps Edie's husband was pretty creepy, and the fact he went after Mrs McCluskey certainly rattled me. But I think once they got deeper into his mystery it all came apart at the seams.

I think the first half of season 5 had some incredibly good episodes, but for some reason the second half of the season was a mess. Eli Scruggs? Edie's death and that shitty tribute episode? However once we got onto the godawful season 6 it didn't look so bad in comparison…
