Can’t come up with 6 figures?

That addendum makes me happy. Even as an 18 year old, you saw the value of what you were given and respected it. That's integrity. I'm sure your parents did a good job raising you, but you've either got integrity or you don't. I'm sure that's served you well in the years since. Excellent story.

Fail Rated.

I should note that I DID fill the tank AND washed the car inside and out before returning it to Todd and Selinsgrove Ford.

Senior year in high school I wanted a nice car for prom. I went down to Selinsgrove Ford, where my family had gotten cars and service since I was little. I spoke to the owner Todd and told him I wanted a car for Prom, knew it was a long shot, but could I rent a car from him for Prom night.

If you cannot afford the payments at 48 months then buy a cheaper car. There are plenty of other vehicles to pick from that you can actually afford.

the solution to keep payments down is simple...get a cheaper car.

I think on jalopnik, in this case it’s ok to be that guy.

Ccorrection: He didnt drive a Lexus to 1 million, he bought a Lexus at 900k and drove it 100k to 1 million. There are people out there who have actually driven their cars from mile 1 to one million.  In my eyes he just drove a car 100k miles....

Nitrogen fill is expensive. They can’t just get that from the air you know.

If you’re seriously asking that I wonder why we’re on Jalopnik. Off the top of my head:
1. It pisses off Range Rover purists.
2. It pisses off BMW purists.
3. It now makes turbo noises, and with some tweaking can probably shoot fire out the exhaust.
4. It now has a manual.

Blessed be the poor insurance adjuster trying to figure out how organize the paperwork on that one.
