Friend has an ‘09 that I’ve driven on a number of occasions. It’s fine for bopping around town, but forget it for long drives. We did one 500+ mile round-trip in it and I refuse to ever do a long trip in it again. The hard seats and lack of sound deadening makes it awful for driving long distances.

That being said, I’ve had a number of S60 and XC60 service loaners over the years and I found the S60's seats to be more comfortable than my XC60's. I’m not sure if it’s a different mounting height or what, but the top of the S60's seat holds my upper back…
