Yah I’ll give you that one...I prefer the long roll but there are some trucks with biscuits...but yeah, they are harder to find.

Great tip...and it will save you the tip of your finger too.

I used to travel on the PA/Ohio turnpike A LOT, and often very, very early in the morning, and I’d agree - I hate chains, but on the ‘pike it’s your only option. Hardee’s breakfast sammy is the best by a BIG margin...but the best VALUE is the McDonalds Sausage Biscuit at usually a little over a dollar. Two of those

See, the floor show at some chains is worth the self-loathing that comes with going there. Anyone who knows, knows the City Line TFIG in Philadelphia in the late 90's and early 2000's was an experience like nothing else. NBA stars, fights, tumbleweaves, people dressed like they only do on reality shows on TV...it was

As much as is possible yes.  Farmers markets, local bakeries and butchers if still in existence

Local is a damn good start.  EV’s, especially these types, are still in the infancy stages of life.  Like where cars were in 1915.

I haven’t been to an Outback in a really, really long time so I don’t have a frame of reference.  I have had the misfortune of an Applebees visit (part of a group not my choice filled with regrets)

Shop-Rite has the full complement of advantages - big stores with a large diverse inventory, good prices, a good deli, and fairly good employees.

That “not so special someone” will really...

Is the first and weirdest product Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing?

I find the prescription delivery part of this to be amazing - so many elderly and sick people spend so much time waiting on a pharmacy, plus the extra hassle of going to one when you already feel like hell.

The most decadent and enjoyable non-traditional use of caviar I have found is on pizza. It is a much nicer anchovy-ish flavor...especially when paired with a good crumbled sausage.

“Hey see this kid trying to make the world better? Fuck her, amirite?”

Fiddling while Rome burns...how very 2024.

This hot garbage is what happens when you, the consumer, go to the “Hot New Chain” in your community, that chain kills local businesses, then they profit massively by slashing quality and keeping you interested with “Hot New Products” that are just “Hot New Garbage”.

Let’s hope lessons are learned and they do right by Three Body...which deserves the treatment GOT got for 4 seasons.

Wow...what a really good evaluation of what I couldn’t quite put a finger on aside from a general “meh that sucked” and some ideas why...I mean yeah A LOT of it sucked but it was beyond the simple rushing and dumbing-down the plotlines.  Nice post.

My step-daughter wanted a “real” grilled cheese sandwich (processed white bread and Kraft singles) instead of the “good” ones I make...and being not a douche to kids and also being wrapped around her 9-year old finger I did.

Burgers are even iffy - real cheese may not have that perfect melt but has much more (and better) flavor and isn’t that the point?

I would disagree with the sauce comment...not about the Marinara (which is horrific) but the Three Pepper which is amazing.  Nice flavorful spice (it’s not HOT, it is spicy) which pairs well with much of their food.  The Horsey is, of course, genius...but the Three Pepper stands head and shoulders above most other
