I wonder if Tesla shareholders care if it’s a flop? I think they might. Lots of people put down deposits, but how many will follow through - time will tell.

You just confirmed what I said in that 5 seconds. Those are the last of cars that will not be made anymore - I know that people are paying more for them. That does not reflect the general situation where it would not happen. I’m glad to hear that people in general don’t pay the markup in the US.

Yes, but you as consumers allow them to do it. That would never fly in Australia - all they would get would be customers laughing as they walked out the door. I understand our markets are different, but why don’t people push back on it?
