Whatever they do, please let this be involved

Seeya Erin - have fun cutting those wires.

It’s a good tool.  My dad still has his dad’s - it’s had a new head and handle along the way but it’s still the same one :)

I entered a competition to win a full-size one of these a few months ago (why?  I just thought it would be cool, plus you could sell it), so I can see the appeal of one I could actually fit in my front yard.

My first car was a Ford Meteor, which was the sedan version of the Laser. Neither of those names may mean anything outside Australia, but it was a small car that was seven years old when I got it. The engine could best be described as a 4-cyl 1.6L Asthmatic Plus that would not pull the skin off a rice pudding. I was

Athletes, watch out - ride in a Dodge and you could pull an eMuscle

I thought it was weird too - if you see the narrow roads they have once you get off the main ones, I would hate to drive it around.

You just confirmed what I said in that 5 seconds. Those are the last of cars that will not be made anymore - I know that people are paying more for them.  That does not reflect the general situation where it would not happen.  I’m glad to hear that people in general don’t pay the markup in the US.

I would have been interested to have a look at one, but we aren’t getting them here in Australia

Fair enough - not the practice, just the reason.

Good to hear that.

Yes, but you as consumers allow them to do it.  That would never fly in Australia - all they would get would be customers laughing as they walked out the door.  I understand our markets are different, but why don’t people push back on it?

Yeah, I’m Australian. This is the second ute I have had, the previous one was a VUII I had for 12 years from new from 2002, this one is a VF from 2015 that was a year old when I got it. My interest in utes stems from the Melbourne Motor Show in 1977, when I was eight - I saw this in white:

As you can see in my avatar, that’s my car apart from the unfortunate hood scoops and nostrils. I’m looking to go to an EV for my next car and as I actually use the length of the tray to carry things, it has to be able to carry six foot long items with the seats down. If someone announced an EV version of my ute with

It’s the nearest thing to approaching my Australian ute in the US that I have seen, and I approve (apart from the age of the donor car). It even appears to have a decent tray length, which is the problem with the Ranger, Hilux and others :)

I sass him as well :)

Thanks for the confirmation - I’m not surprised :)

Much better looking is subjective - whatever floats your boat.

I reckon it’s possible that Peugeot bikes were used in the Tour De France at some point - cool.

Looks like a fine bit of toast - if you are interested and haven’t seen it and can get access, Toast Of London is a weird and fun comedy starring Matt Berry.
