My family’s first fridge (in Australia) was a Frigidaire - it ran for more than 30 years. Good fridge.

General Motors Defense Research Laboratories built the wheels for this fine vehicle:

That purple - I want it. Even though I am pretty much committed to an EV for my next car, that colour is amazing. If I could, I would park it in my bedroom next to the wall behind my (removed) bed which is a darker version of that purple. Then I would sleep in it.

Thanks for the information - I agree, I would probably get a home charger. I currently have a Holden ute, which has a 7 foot long tray, and I need to be able to carry around things up to 6 foot long, so that will be a consideration, but until more EV models arrive here and I can measure the space behind the front

I can’t think of anything really bad to do with a car - maybe rolling through a stop sign at 5km/hr when I was 19 and there was a police person sitting in a car off to my right. I don’t know about the US, but sign offences in Australia are quite expensive relative to what I did.

Thanks, and yes I know my Government is less than receptive regarding EV takeup. Lucky for me, I won’t be looking at it for a minimum of 3-4 years, so there is time for change (though I am not holding my breath). I also spend most of my time driving around a country town that you can cross from one extremity to the

I’ve seen test drives, but don’t know if any have been sold.

Don’t forget to avenge your father :)

It would matter to me more if I had them in my car

“Your next vehicle will be an electric vehicle.”

In my case, being born 10 weeks early and then needing brain surgery at six months old has also made me philosophical about death. I could have been gone before I really started life, so in one sense the last 51 years have been a bonus. In another more immediate sense, I’ve felt life was largely pointless since I was

My niece did a semester at a French speaking school in Canada - coming from Australia was an interesting experience for her :)

Mother knocks on bathroom door “Bob, what are doing in there?”

I thought as much - thanks.  The worst we get where I live is occasional black ice.

I guessed that might be the case, thanks.

I’ve never known this to happen here in Australia.  Maybe they make the roads in a way to be prepared for that type of heat here, which makes sense.

I first saw Gumball Rally when it was released in the cinema when I was six. Unsurprisingly, the bloke mooning out the car window is what stuck with me.

All I really need is Le Mans.  Also, while technically not a car film, Senna.

No thanks - you made a Mustang even less desirable to me, and I didn’t think that could happen.  If it floats your boat though, that’s great.

Well, not yet anyway.
