When adopting, I think parents get nervous about children that have been in foster care for too long. Exactly! There’s nothing dictating that Girl Scout troops need to do “girly” or “crafty” activities. You just need to create your own troop if the current ones aren’t suiting your girl’s needs. Or, there are alternative clubs. Explorers, Big City Mountaineers, etc. cater to boys and girls.
