We have two cats, and I have to share this miracle of a litter box solution:

Same. This is so very much a cat thing that I love it despite its grossness.

I texted my friend who told me to watch it - I was like “There better not be ANY MORE DOG INJURIES OR DEATHS!!!” SHe replied “Nope, no more dogs. LOts of people though.” So I stuck with it.

My dog is afraid of:
1. Clothes
2. Vacuum
3. Water
4. Fidget Spinners
5. The “Tiger Tail” massage thingie for my shoulder
6. My bike
7. Brooms
8. Trash cans
9. The fan (standing)
10. The fan (ceiling)
I could go on...

But again - the face! Worth it. <3

Holy Crap, am I the first?
Nope, not.

Well. Hey all. Master of None is fantastic. So is House of Cards. The weather here is fucking hot. We don’t have air conditioning. These are all facts.

But then I realize that phrase means nothing to Trump and he’ll gladly perjure himself. And the GOP will happily excuse it.

This right here. I love my coffee hot as hell, and my alcohol cold. I *love* a cold double IPA. Also, this entire article (I skimmed) freaked me out from the start, because “1 6-pack between us” per week would trigger me. I can down 3 imperial IPAs at 9% in an evening. It’s not the best evening, but it can happen.

The thing is, I am not focusing on fabric. I am aware of the outrage, and what people think is happening. I am also speaking from an informed place of experience, as someone who has been required to follow these rules, someone who has been required to enforce similar rules, and someone who thinks the foundational

You know the differences between lycra, spandex, rayon, nylon, elastane, or other synthetic blends on sight? That’s just what I am pointing out. Someone who isn’t going to study the fabric has a vague sense in their head about what “lycra” or “spandex” tight fitting pants would be. Is it wrong to put so much power in

And here are some skinny dress pants for the 10 yr old in question in this story, for a whole $14. It isn’t an impossibility to find decent dress clothes. If you know you are flying regularly, and using the pass, and know the rules, just follow them. It’s not that hard.

Fair point, and I definitely agree that there is something to be said in addressing the concept of dress codes as a whole, and how they are sexist. My stepfather’s mother was a flight attendant for NWA in the early days, and was told how to dress, how to do her hair and makeup, and what her weight was allowed to be.

Exactly. If we want to have a reasonable discussion about dress codes, the way they are constructed and applied, and the social constructions of dress, I am 100% on board for that. But this is basically a bunch of people shouting about something that is literally written out every time you get a ticket as an employee:

Yes, but the rule they are literally citing is “shorts are acceptable in coach” and also “spandex is not allowed”. I am 100% sure that UA gate attendants are not materials scientists, so when asked to monitor the rules, they are given discretion.

This was not about sexualizing little girls. This was a poorly handled

My mother, sister, and I used to dress my youngest brother in dresses, paint his nails, and create a feminized version of his name. Now that brother is a full time single parent, after my niece’s mother decided she didn’t want to be a mother and put the baby up for adoption - without telling my brother. He said no

I’m looking at the map, and I think we actually flew out of Schönefeld. It was just a short flight to London, so a secondary seems about right. We stayed near Templehof though, sort of. Who knows. Still, seems like a cool tattoo to honor your formative experiences!

That’s the airport that’s closed now, right? But was still open in 2012-2013? If so, I flew out of that one, and it was an awesome airport experience. We got interviewed by a radio station asking about how awful it was and why it was right to shut it down, and I was like “Um, this is WAY better than american airports!”

Same. My ex-boyfriend’s dad was a United retiree, so I had to wear heels, hose, and a dress or suit when flying - even on standby. I once had a 12 hour layover at LAX, with an AWFUL sunburn (came from Hawaii) solo, because I didn’t get on the direct flight (ex did, he had to get back for work.) I did the layover in

Heh, I know about these things. I have one acting credit on IMDB (voice only). It’s hilarious when it comes up in searches.
