It costs what it does because it's what the company deems to be a good price, and because t's been proven that we will pay that much for it. Supply and demand. And there really aren't that many versions.

That's fine; don't get me wrong, I acknowledge that you do have valid points. I guess some people can trust a majority opinion for matters such as this, while other people prefer a more strictly professional opinion. Different strokes.

That's the whole point of it being crowd-sourced. Obviously, if they were to ask only you, we would have a very narrow scope. But when you ask many people, most of whom have tried multiple set of headphones, they can say "I've used a few, and the Shure SE215s are my favorite!" The end result works kind of like a truly…

Since "best" is always going to be a personal preference in these cases, it wouldn't make sense to have the Commerce Team buy and review all headphones that ever existed, and simply trust their all-knowing opinion. The most effective way to find the general consensus for the best headphones is to ask the general…

Newegg is telling me the promo code for the Rosewill HIVE-550 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply has expired or is invalid, which makes me sad, because a recent blunder has caused me to be in dire need of a new PSU.
This reminds me of college, when I had to build a fridge light for our room's fridge out of whatever spare parts I could find lying around. Fortunately, I was able to find a BJT, so I could turn my NO pushbutton switch to a NC switch, and ran it off a 9V battery. It was ugly, but it served its purpose throughout the…
Most college students aren't going to shell out $500 for this though. Not when a Nerf net is so much more easily obtained.
Maybe the use of a device like this will motivate app developers to create more robust versions of certain apps that allow for something like this to be useful. There's no reason for them to expand their horizons and create a better product if the capability for new features doesn't exist on the device itself.
I had over 100 open just last night in Chrome, doing genealogy research. I ended up not using all of them, but they were there. And it was on an Asus Transformer, so, yes, my performance did take a huge hit.
My personal rules:
Tom Bombadil is just a hill I simply cannot get over. Every time I try, I can see why Peter Jackson left it out.
At first I laughed, and then I realized, "Holy crap he's right! That's the perfect cover!"

Woohoo, this material makes it so my fingers can't see things! Yay science!
While you should be able to without any negative side-effects, I am having a hard time imagining why this would be useful. XLR connections are useful because they are balanced inputs which can greatly eliminate noise, but the bluetooth headset is going to produced an unbalanced signal. Someone else can correct me if…
I totally agree with you. There are far more dangerous things that people do with their personal security on a daily basis. I was simply saying that a person's fears in this regard aren't exactly unwarranted. If they are worried about that kind of thing, they should make time for a thorough read of the company's…
Knowing your sleep cycles is probably not very valuable information, since it's easy to guess with most people, but knowing when you're away could be potentially very dangerous information in the wrong hands.
You'll be getting even less speed than you currently are if you go through with your plan to snip that cable in the picture.
Agreed. This is by far my favorite of the designs. If this design was on a non-smart watch, I would seriously consider buying one.
I definitely think this is a more reasonable explanation. For these underpaintings to exist for decades prior? Hogwash.
