I disagree that it would be an instant success. There would be significant overhead if the phone were offered free to prime members, because chances are if a person is genuinely interested in this particular phone, they are already Prime subscribers. I do agree, that it could eventually lead to potential revenue

But at the same time, a lot more accurate. This will make the forensic guy's job a little easier.

Sounds good, thanks. I'll definitely try it out. It may come in useful for my foreign language study.

How could one pass up the opportunity?

You too?! I remember this one, and another one on how yawning was so contagious that even mention of the word yawn could make you yawn (though that one may have been on the ACT — I can't remember for certain). All the while inserting the word "yawn" into every other sentence. Those writers were jerks. I could hardly

I don't have a Windows Phone, but I did just get a Windows 8 tablet and have been looking for a good offline translator for it. Does Bing Translator have offline capability for all of its languages?

I would expect them to be able to write it down. Not the preferable option, because it introduces a greater potential for mistakes, but it would be the only option apart from asking for another form of payment.

I wasn't blaming Amazon. In many cases, the fact that no sales tax was being collected would be the tie-breaker between Amazon and some other vendor, and I was concerned that if it ends up causing me to not buy from Amazon as often, then Prime shipping would cease to be worth the cost. Now that Prime has the added

I wasn't aware Arduinos had the necessary bandwidth to handle live video feeds. I'm interested in the technical details of how they're doing this.

I was somewhat upset this morning after I found out sales tax was now being collected on Amazon orders in my state (since that's what often made them the cheapest option). This completely makes up for it; or it will if they have the music I'm hoping for.

The fact that they're Beats is alone enough to tell me they cost more than they're worth. I do think they look really nice, but I'm more of a "biggest bang-for-the-buck" kind of guy.

I'll actually agree with you about most of that. I simply despise using proprietary systems, so I try to go the most "open" route with everything. On the matter of the charging cable, I actually thought Motorola supplied a simple yet very effective solution by contouring the microUSB plug they sent with my Moto X. It

GTFO doesn't seem very comfortable to use for gaming

OK first, I don't have a clue what the red button even does. Second, how critical could this possibly be? A hacker would probably be able to do more damage or steal more useful things hijacking my coffee maker.

I thought that's what it already did. At least, for the brief time I used it, that's how I used it. I didn't really care for how it felt though.

I came here thinking the same thing. Boy was I confused for a few minutes.

I'll admit, this is pretty cool. But I can't see blowing over $1K to not have to pull a string. Maybe after recirculating some funds, I could give it a spin, but right now, I'm just not that big a fan.

Their proprietary systems is the reason I have owned only one iPhone. They made a nice system, but having to buy a separate charging cable, and sometimes ever separate adapters because of the fact that iPhones required ever so slightly different USB adapters (which, yes, I realize the technical advantages of their

That may depend on what kind of power you need. I feel like with a breakthrough like this, "decent" graphics cards (maybe on par with an R7 or R9) without cooling will not be far behind. But I don't expect anything matching the power of a GTX Titan Z to come without cooling for a long time, or ever.

I've been needing a silent PC for this very reason for years. The CPU fan is the loudest, but I still get far too much ambient noise from the case fan and the spinning hard drive. Soon, I'll upgrade to an SSD to help with one of those. Fortunately, there are tools that allow me to slow the fans to a much quieter
