It seems like most of the automakers have given up on the small affordable car which was supposed to be the entry point into their brands. They might not be hugely profitable - but they get the buyers back in the showroom 4-7 years down the line when they’re ready to upgrade.

Maybe for the ones that did poorly its that their AI is so smart they know its not a real motorcyclist?

Can’t get more influencial than this

I swear they do this to drive engagement.

Because the editors are on Autopilot. Tesla’s press release doesn’t say that - it says its the fastest Model 3 ever.

Exotic cars used to be so special - now they pump them out by the thousands. I can count on one hand the times I saw a Lambo / Ferrari back in the 80s (including location, color, model). (specifically Black Countach in 85, Red Diablo in 89, a Ferrari 328 doing donuts in 87, a Black Lotus Esprit passing going up a ski

The Boss 302 is so iconic.

Lightning McQueen is a celebrity car? Kachow!

I’ve posted this before but the stock price is likely being hammered because FSD is looking like it’ll never actually do what was promised. That was the big bet people were making.

Doubt it cost them much - it’s just some simple coding - Car Wash Mode has nothing to do with the Cybertruck water egress issues.

Car wash mode just closes all windows, locks the charge port, and disables windshield wipers, Sentry Mode, walk-away door locking, and parking sensor chimes.

Having a bridge with supports in a major waterway without barriers seems like a bad idea.

Frank Grimes? Is that like his father in law? :-)

Back in my day, turbo used to mean something.

Never a fan of sticker packages or Vegas, but that thing is in pretty nice shape for what it is.

Is your plan to avoid roads completely and fly in a straight line across the state?

Now playing

I’ll start criticizing America’s love for gas powertrains when an EV truck can drive across Texas without having to stop four times to charge, eight times if they’re towing.

Got to wear your seatbelt - you could get hurt.

$39k for a truck that can go 250miles isn’t so bad... oh wait that’s what was promised. Wait again, how much in 2024??? Talk about inflation!

I wonder what the attrition rate of the first & second gen is - because I haven’t seen one on the road in eons.
