Model 2 of course would share styling with the Cybertruck

If you took off the Mercedes badge - from this angle it’s such a generic car with 2000s blob styling.

The amazing thing is they are having problems with CT on things that Tesla should be good at - regular EV stuff. To think they could have just done a light truck based on the 3/y.

How long has it been since Infiniti went to the Qxx everything model naming? I have no clue which is what anymore. The G,M,Q naming was better.

When they did a refresh a few years ago - I was really surprised they didn’t transition then. The smell in that area isn’t great.

We have a Model 3, 70k miles in 4.5 years, no big problems - but I won’t be buying anything from Elon again.

Saab Viggen

A slide show of pictures unrelated to the text? Could there be a worse format for explaining a timeline?

If the Aztek was badged as a Subaru, it would be one of the most loved automotive icons, rather than the most derided.

And people complain there isn’t any affordable EVs.

luckily dealers will offer Bridge financing

Profile is a bit too blobish Honda Fit / last-gen Toyota Prius for my tastes. Would have hoped for sometime more like the Rivian R3X without the ride height.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Having a platform for gas, hybrid or electric won't be optimized for any powertrain. I bet that's why the Charger is so chunky.

It seems like insurance companies are quick to write off EVs when even if there is superfical damage to the battery pack. But at salvage they are getting top dollar - the batteries can be reused / repurposed. So the net loss isn’t necessarily that bad for the insurance company, but gives them an excuse to raise rates.

X-bodies had their issues but as a kid all my friends parents had them and they seemed like space ships compared to my dad’s 1976 A-body which somehow was both massive outside and small inside.

They have Tesla as a whole with depreciation of 28.9% but by model the highest depreciating model is the X with 24.6%. It’s not clear how the brand average can be higher than the worst model - it appears to be for the same time period.

The glass isn’t bulletproof??? But Franz threw a metal ball baseball at it.

The truck in the video isn’t even as high as most of the monsters on the road.

I’m liking that profile

geez, a Model S weighs 4600lbs and a Model 3 weighs 3600 - 4000.
