My phone after getting groceries. Luckily I put my home number on the lock screen. By the time I got home - my wife had already received a call by someone who saw it go flying off the roof and retrieved it.

Crown Vic of course
Speaking of regurgitating - wasn’t this post originally from July?
I see 1987 LeBaron hatchback with the glass between the C / D pillars
The idea is pretty cool. Too bad they couldn’t have the roll-down rear window like the old Jimmys. They should have done a classic two-tone paint job & a roll bar like the early Jimmys. I still like the general concept.
According to wikipedia they could be had with a 5-speed manual. Which I guess means it was the first manual tranmission Caddy until the CTS-V.
Totally agree. Too fast & too inexperienced of riders -plus they weigh a lot, so if they hit someone they are going to do a lot of damage.
Amazing packaging! They fit a battery 4x bigger than a Model 3's in it!
This is very random. But in the last couple months; I’ve seen multiple late 70s Buick Skylarks on the road. I don’t even remember seeing them in the 70s/80s. And they weren’t even restored versions - like rough looking ones.
Self Driving can be great machine-learning tool for a second set of eyes for accident avoidance - so I think its a worthwhile endeavor. As well, there’s lots of use cases with semi-controlled enviroments (dedicated bus lanes, container ports, airport shuttles, etc)
A startup, Edison Motors, coverted a old Semi to be a serial hybrid as a prototype. The original truck weighed 9,000kg, the new truck with a diesel generator and I think 200kwh of battery weighed 8,800kg.
This is the whole problem with the dealer networks, they have to finance the cars that sit on their lots so they are really risk adverse in what they stock. They don’t want to get stuck with a bright green, manual transmission, diesel wagon.
I went to my 10 and 20 year reunions. 10 year was like - no one really changed all that much. 20 year I realized I would have kept in touch if I had cared to - so why waste an evening with these people. Anyhow they were both in hotels - I don’t think I saw anyones cars anyways.
I still can’t tell which way is the front.
No Blazer / Equinox EV?
