You missed the part where he graduated right as the economy collapsed. Even accountants were loosing their jobs at that point.

I bought a new car right out of college, I actually traded in the new car that I bought in college to get it.
The thing is I was going to spend $20,000 - $25,000 on a car regardless of if I bought used or new. If I went the used route I'd have been in a 335xi, but instead I decided to buy a new Focus ST.
eh, could be worse. He could have bought her a Panigale.
That Porsche camera SUV though.... it was getting it around that corner.
Maybe if the Democrats didn't have such nutty economic policies they would stand a chance. If the Democrats supported gun owners and came up with some economics that made sense they would stand a chance.
Quinn and the Democrats haven't exactly done shit for this state. (Well except go to jail.) It's no wonder Rauner got elected.
Wait... I fall in the 18-29 age bracket, I voted, and I voted Republican. What is so wrong with that? Who's to say that if more folks my age showed up to vote they wouldn't have also voted Republican?
Until I see a study I'm not buying it. Cars use the same size headlights, it's just the housing that's bigger.
The headlights on this bike could be blindingly bright if Yamaha wanted them to be.
I don't follow your logic. I can tell the distance of on coming lights even if they're from a bicycle.
Shit, at least it's not an LS swap.
Because you don't need no steering feel to have a comfortable car. With today's suspension technology you can have the best of both worlds. Additionally, I'm not saying that they need to be a sports car manufacture. What I'm saying is they need to have variety in their line up. Currently they pretty much have an A4…
They can do that, but also have some sporty stuff. Lexus does this well. LFA, RC F, IS F. Lincoln on the other hand only sells expensive rebadged Fords. They only sell two cars that are essentially a rebadged Fusion and Taurus.
They need some sporty offerings.
What is up with Jalopink suggesting people buy old cars that are just waiting to hit the repair shop over new reliable transportation? This thing is in no way better than a Yaris unless you plan to only drive it a few times a month.
Yeah... I'd get the Yaris. This thing looks like a ticking time bomb.
What the hell... I didn't mind the sound symposer on the STs, but this is lame.
Still slower than a bike.
I always do a cents per miles calculation to help me decide if I should buy new or not. I use 250,000 miles as the life of a vehicle. So a brand new $23,000 vehicle would cost me 9.2 cents per mile, where as the same vehicle with 30,000 miles on it would cost me 9.2 cents per mile if I could purchase it for $20,240.
So…
Ugh, why do I always buy Fords... I'v liked VWs ever since I can remember starting with the Love Bug movie when I was a little kid. Every time I see a new VW release I really like it, but then when it comes time to buy I always end up in a damn Ford.
I suppose it depends on when you buy your cars. If your buying 3-5 year old cars simplicity is probably best. Yet, if you buy new and keep your car for 3-5 years exciting is probably best. If you buy new and keep it till the wheels fall off you should probably should pass the Volkswagen Group right up.
