These people do a fine job of compiling this shit:

I-thought he kind of did? Wasn't he the one who acknowledged that his ancestors were slave owners, which is why his mother encouraged him not to use his actual last name? I thought he said in the same article that 12 Years A Slave was his attempt to address his family's history?

He says horribly classist things all the time. He doesn't have to apologize for his ancestors, but he should apologize for being an ass.

Even though it would be totally brilliant if an average woman named Victoria Beckman made the cover of Vogue instead of Kim. THAT would be Nuclear Effing Wintour.

I am going to use the french fries line somewhere if you don't mind, it's brilliant!

Said more eloquently and in more detail than I could give right now

I'm the very last person to excuse an addict for their behavior. But I do understand it and it doesn't do anybody any good to forget that they were human beings in serious pain and trouble.

Having money doesn't make you better at addiction. It just doesn't.

If you truly think any addict ever makes a "considered decision" then you don't really understand addiction.

My brother made stupid choices. He was not a stupid person.

Human beings are not cautionary tales. And, no, my brother, at sixteen, struggling with pain and mental illness, probably wasn't thinking very logically or clearly about moving up to heroin from other drugs. He probably was just trying to numb himself. And like all young people, he probably thought he was invincible.

And they are both senseless, one (I) might argue.

i was in agreement with jared until i read your post. i guess i didn't care because psh was a celeb? anyway, your personal tragedy helped me to see his cause of death differently.

Really? Relapse is an expected outcome. I pray you are never my service provider. Even after your client cleans up, you have to continue to support them because relapsing is part of recovery. No one ever stops being an addict once clean. And you know that, recovery is life long. Please reflect on your practice because

While this is great "on paper," the reality is that you can't just snap your fingers and stop fucking around with drugs when you're neck-deep into addiction.

These assholes. Don't even get me started.

Your language suggests that you have absolutely zero understanding of addiction, and that you are moralizing it, which was the common way to discuss and combat the subjects of substance abuse and dependence up until roughly a century ago...at which point people began to know better. Catch up please. Putting things in

They aren't. But you're sitting here telling people who have lost loved ones to drugs that the death was stupid. And that's just not your call to make. To attempt to make it is presumptuous, dickish, and cruel. You don't get to define someone else's experience.

Sure, when you intimately know the person who died.

Or the "hilarious" joke he made last week about justin bieber being a woman.

I have been disgusted by some of the comments left in other posts about this, PSH was clean for 20 years and unfortunately for whatever reason he relapsed. he is not selfish nor did he let down his family, he had an addiction which took over his mind and soul, RIP.
