This is the best comment I have ever read on Gawker Media.

I know ScarJo mostly because of her big lips and husky voice (and because she has done more actual work than Sienna, obviously) but yeah, I know what you mean. I still have a hard time with Olivia Munn and Olivia Wilde, too.
I still could not pick Sienna Miller out of a line-up for the life of me. Every time I see her face my brain registers this:
It really is unfair. You need both things to exist. It's like having to choose between water and cookies, WTF.
Caffeine vs. Immodium? CHAMPAGNE VS. RED WINE???
Oh, of course I blame Whedon for Tara. I don't mind the actress in question, but I think that the poor writing and the way that they brought her on the show made her mannerisms seem more magnified than they were. It could be an example of what you're talking about, though. I think my issue with most of the characters…
Yes, but! Most of the time the water from the tap isn't as cold as certain people *COUGH*PEOPLELIKEME*COUGH* would like.
No, actually what you are doing right now is derailing by pulling the "BUT THIS HAPPENS TO MEN TOOOO" card.
Gross! But thanks for posting. I had no idea he was such an asshat.
It is a specifically gendered thing, and I am fairly certain that most of the women here on Jez will have had some type of "mean girl" situation in their office environments, a thing which is a direct result of the societal structures I mentioned in my previous post.
There's a deeper issue at play here, too, which is the way that our current system/culture pits women against one another and communicates to us that there are a finite number of jobs/men/happily-ever-afters and we'd better scramble and fuck each other over if we want to get ahead. I could write a novel about this but…
UGGGGHHH SEASON SIX. I like to pretend that seasons 4-7.5 never happened, with the exception of "Hush," which is one of the best TV episodes ever.
We can help communicate and educate and just bring out more dopeness in general.
"I had a customer ask, 'can I get water with no ice but like...cold like if it did have ice in it?'"
or penning crappy pro-life songs, which is something new I learned today
BUUUUTTTT WHAT ABOUT MUH WHITE FEELZ
BUT GEORGINA ALSO RUINED EVERYTHING.
Exactly. It's the digital equivalent of that friend everybody has who manages to steer every single conversation into something about her or himself.
