Well, mine did/does. And so did a couple of other people's according to the comments. I think she may be projecting her own experience here but she's not totally off-base in terms of her description.

I think they should just stop covering her completely. They refuse to print things about certain MRA trolls; they'd be well-served to just ignore this woman. I mean at this point, they're part of the problem as they're giving her a platform to spew bullshit.

Well, she hasn't been attacking Jezebel personally is the thing. She's just saying horrible things about fat people—which is an issue and I get that—but that's in some respects her disorder talking. IDK it really rubs me the wrong way and I think the coverage of it in this article minimizes bulimia in general.

I haven't heard of it described as a "good girl" drug, but it is an addictive behavior. The rush you get from the binge (stuff down the feelings) and the purge (get them out of you) is totally real, at least IMO. I think she might be romanticizing it a bit with that description, though.

I've been there and this is spot-on. I'm glad they are trying to raise awareness. It can be absolutely terrifying just walking around—even during the day.
