Yeah, it’s not really beating a dead horse when you’re reporting on lives lost due to negligence.

As more and more software is required for every vehicle, there’s bound to be bugs that don’t get noticed. Cars of today have way less problems than yesteryear when it comes to mechanical quality, but the software is still maturing.

To be fair, they also admit in that review that they LOVE the Wrangler for what it is: a fun off-road beast. They scored it low because, as a daily driver for the average “consumer”, it’s terrible. And they aren’t wrong.

Pre-production mules generally don’t worry about things like that. It’s probably for vehicle package evaluation or, if it’s a functional car, dynamics testing.

Based on a few sentences, it sounds like FF has great engineering and technology. That’s what makes this so difficult to read about. It’s the bullshit around the engineering that’s getting in the way.
