To be fair, he made the decision to leave RBR on his own accord, and through the first 12 races of the 2019 season, it’s looking like that was not a good decision. He’s trailing both McLaren drivers, as well as former RBR-reject Kvyat in the Torro Rosso in the WDC.

How bad is Danny Ric kicking himself this season? He leaves RBR, citing reliability issues (nearly all of which were the Renault powerplant failing), only to switch to Renault’s factory team. Throughout the first half of 2019, he’s had 3 DNF’s , only finished in the points in 4 out of the 12 races thus far, and has

What’s interesting is that the PC-23's “Mercedes” engine was that it had absolutely no connection to Mercedes at all. It was an engine built entirely by Penske and Ilmor, meant to exploit a loophole in the rules for the 94 Indy 500.

You do know this website is part of GMG, right? Do you really think that they would bother writing a story about how women are punished less severely for a similar crime compared to their male counterparts? That definitely wouldn’t fit with their typical narrative...

Don’t worry, I’m sure one of Jalop’s staffers are already on it ;)

You know it’s a slow news day when... But then again, Jalopnik is part of GMG so they’ve gotta talk about Trump whenever possible to drive those clicks.

Just a heads-up, but if someone wants to be taken “seriously” as a motorsports journalist, a combination of hot-take opinion pieces and factually incorrect reporting (your article about Max Chilton withdrawing from oval racing) is not the way to do it.

That’s the great thing about this platform (Uber, Lyft, etc.). If those driving for these services were to up and quit (none of the one-day “strike” BS), the companies would implode upon themselves. These companies would be gone nearly as fast as they sprung up.

Does anyone else find the irony in someone driving a GMC Yukon Denali demanding “better pay”?
