Electability is a developing code word for “no women; no blacks, no gays; no socialists.”
Or, you know, people who actually compare the platforms of candidates and came to the conclusion that he at least has formed a plan around his candidacy. I’m not sold on him as a candidate, but I at least know where he stands on major issues. Ashley had to go out of her way to know nothing about him and write this…
Except you aren’t expressing real skepticism about him. Point out his weird flip flop on vaccines or his age or something substantive, but talking about how he was weird to you in college isn’t doing anything legit.
A whisky library!!?? Why on earth would I hate someone with a whisky library?
The idea that someone who describes themselves as “Staff writer, mint chocolate hater” going after someone for being “smart and quirky!” is mildly amusing.
For the purposes of the irony, it doesn’t matter what her achievements are—she may well have stellar grades and extracurriculars that got her into USC, she may not, but crowing that your kid got into USC “all on her own” a few years after you donated $70 million to USC is in bad taste.
I don’t get it though, because I thought the football team was funding the school. Donations are only needed to make up the shortfall if we started paying athletes
Oh come on... this is the exact same logic people who complain about Affirmative Action uses. “My precious and oh so special child didn’t get in because of INSERT REASON HERE”. No, your child didn’t get in because he or she was likely one of the million high achieving children who dont make it in every year because…
“Is it keto? Is it arm day only? Is it shoulders day? Obliques? Lats? Traps?”
I think it goes beyond sexual frustration - it’s frustration that they are not in control of a woman or women.
Pedro should have used a bible instead because the only thing that stops a good guy with a gun is a guy with the good book.
It’s a troll, only six comments in their history and all troll comments.
31 is way too young. The coroner’s report is going to have quite Astori to tell.
Come on, you’re better than this! My wife and I play in a bowling league together and we’re not fucking.
As a transwoman who wants to adopt, this makes me so incredibly happy. I’ve always wanted to be a mom (yes, despite the stupid medical condition I was born with) and being able to connect with an infant in this way is so meaningful to me. <3
I’ll add to that by saying the when you insult men by attacking their masculinity (which is what is happening when you make fun of a small penis) then you are encouraging them to lean in to macho, shitty, antics because you literally just told them they are not “manly” enough.
I’m not defending this guy, or guys that…
The problem isn’t that they insulted him, who is definitely an asshole, but that “baby dick” is upheld as a proper and good insult. I mean, it is insulting, so it works on that level, but it’s also bonkers body-shaming.
Okay then, so I’ll be the killjoy who points out that this is body shaming and there’s a litany of other wonderful insults that aren’t.
