To be fair, it DOES do off-site backup, as long as you have access to a computer in another location, such as Office <-> Home or Friend <-> Friend. You can totally use BTSync over the internet, as I have myself to keep projects in sync at the home and office.
I guess I don't see the value or function of this. If you already have all your files synced with Google Drive, why use the browser at all? Why not actually go to the Google Drive folder, double click the file or right click it and use Open With? I may be missing the boat here, but this move *completely* baffles me.
