... and whose track record proves they won't randomly fall off the face of the earth. That is my main concern when using a service or product from a provider that is not well known, or the product is not their main forte. What if this company decides not to provide any new versions, or begins to charge for existing

The promo video is so bad it's hilarious. Fake screen images are one thing, fake finger/hand with drop shadow is quite another. Also, the poorly executed bro-hug at the end is cringeworthy.

If you are rooted, then literally ANY action YOU can take can be taken by Tasker/AutoInput. Usually, all other button-mashing action not requiring root can be taken as well. Good news is that the app has a 7-day trial and step-by-step examples here: http://joaoapps.com/autoinput/ This means you can see before you buy.

As a person who records entire seasons of videos using PlayLater, I can highly recommend this program. I have used it more than I even know. Makes working with file names a breeze. The RegEx options are extremely powerful for those who take the time to learn them, but the other features are simple and clear enough to

A free (for me) alternative is Screenshot Captor: http://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Mouse…
Any donation to their site gives you access to all their programs. However, I chose the free route and was just a member of their forums for a year :-)

I use BitTorrent Sync. Sure, it doesn't auto-sort my photos, but it does work on Wi-Fi and even works over a remote internet connection (I don't have to be at home). If I am on vacation, and get to a Wi-Fi hotspot, I know my phone is syncing my photos to my home server.

I disagree. While I understand your point that the iPod can be a smart device, the iPod can't make cell calls. However, I DO need a phone when I DON'T need data, and I DON'T need to carry a dumb phone AND an iPod. The point (for me) of a smart phone is to allow me to make calls, and still have the *same* device for

+1000 if I could. Been using this since quite a few versions ago, and I can't stand explorer without it anymore.

It should be noted that doing this disables some of the more important always-on features. The fact is that Chrome in the background makes for an almost instant launch-and-search. Without it running in the background, it takes that extra time enough to forget (sometimes) what you wanted to find. Another always-on

Thank you, lifehacker. I have been wanting something like this for a very long time.

Until the day the train beats you. into a bloody pulp.

At the end of the video, he voiced the last part as though someone let the air out of his sails. He sounded like he was bored, or bothered with recording at all. He would make a good Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh.

That's my solution.

Sounds like to me, that's a good way to get fecal bacteria on things you use at the sink, like your toothbrush. If you actually do this, I would recommend some immediate and drastic changes so you don't kill yourself and your family. This is, after all, the reason why so many mountain people got dysentery and other

You gotta love the new explanation for why their site is down: "The site seems to be under attack." LOL. Obviously, someone doesn't know how to review referrer page logs.

Really? No explanation of why you think so? If you would like to discuss this further, I am glad to, but that one-liner is just not enough.

You should purchase PlayLater. It records instead of downloading, so it's Kosher.

Dorothy, you should purchase PlayLater and PlayOn from playlater.tv - PlayLater records Netflix Videos to your computer, then PlayOn streams them from your computer to DLNA devices and devices like the Roku. I have done this due to bad quality internet service at the house. I record what I want to watch at the office

Those aren't quick toggles. That's Lux you see at the top. (Unless you are talking about the screenshot from GHacks. In which case, why are you posting here?)
