Yeah, I’m all for chicken thighs over breasts.  I’ve had a real tough time finding them lately though, boneless/skinless is completely out so I’ve been buying bone in/skin on and butchering.  It’s not all bad though, I always have some bones in the freezer if I want to make stock now.

Comparing by the ounce, a breast is 35 cals with 5 grams protein and thigh is 69 cals with 7 grams protein.

I don’t know if comparing one to one here is the best way. A breast is around twice the weight of a thigh, pound for pound thighs have almost exactly twice the calories of breasts.
