That is one hell of a well done kit. Really, thats some convincing work.

I would say that this would be a great way to spend that 50K. youll be saving maybe 30K over a ‘real’ lambo, but the real benefit is that you wont have to worry about ruining the heritage of a real one if you wanna get really wild with it.

and as a bonus, it looks like that plastic tail/fender assembly is going to be easy to remove. I like how simple it all is.

this is very exciting!! finally, focus is coming to something other than the SS, bigcc adventures or cruiser markets!

countersteer: i heart kei cars, and i heart hondas. 10/10 would hit that N-One.
oversteer: that thing is hella ugly. however, those wheels are pretty nice. has some ferrari testarossa lineage in the pattern. i like that. just not on this hideous monster

I always rock at least my helmet (with ReplayXD Mini cam), Icon1000 rimfire gloves, and Icon1000 El Bajo boots.

Sometimes I will put on my kevlar lined jeans, but usually I only have regular jeans. Never shorts.

he was the guy in Tokyo Drift! its his fault the movie was junk too

Testify brother!

yeah, his quality control was really poor tho. he ended up selling his 4cyl mustang and getting a 500hp mustang cobra replica set up for drag racing. he ran it on winter tires all year round because he thought it was the cheapest way to get sticky tires. he wrapped that one round a tree.

here is one that is frequently overlooked. Preparation and finding clean/dry place to work.

this is the MOST important. even if you are doing an afternoon job in the driveway, just have a few bags around for fasteners and other small parts.

A friend of mine did an afternoon clutch re/re back in highschool on his lawn and was driving around with 3 of his 6 pressure plate bolts for 2 weeks. the lawnmower found

heavy manufacturing is the most awesome-est! Its wonderful to see how far we’ve come since the industrial revolution.

I have to admit, its a lot of fun. Lots of midrange. and pretty light in comparison to a Sporty. in this configuration (larger tank), mine weighs a few less than 400lbs

totally agree. when Classified Moto did their first XV custom, my mind was blown. I started to be able to see past stock styling and all that.

the CB is _the_ classic bike. if you say 70’s bike, you think of a CB. at least i do.

and the Virago had all the features i wanted. Carbed, no Points ignition, stressed member engine, monoshock, backbone frame, light weight, V-Twin powerband, and UJM. so all i had to do was heal the ‘ugly-stick’ wounds that the stock

thanks! lots of time invested to make it not look like a Virago, thats for sure.

yeah, those first gen CB 500/550s are just so nice. lighter than the 750, but just as fun to give the beans. and the whole first gen is a parts-swapping bonanza. and their styling hits all the right ‘classic motorbike’ notes.

WHAT - Current whip: 83 XV500

so its a unicorn, and its more or less mint? all for 6K?
if thats the truth, NP. if it isnt (and i suspect its the latter) then CP.

and we should. just imagine if people knew how to change a tire or understood how to boost their car.... what a utopia we would live in

Honestly, if more people did this, the world would be a safer place. Knowing your bike, and actually skinning some knuckles to get it on the road should be a mandatory part of getting your licence.
