This is all what I’ve wondered as well. Except, to create that enclosure on Europa, complete with Earth-like gravity, who else could do that? The level of power and/or tech needed to do that would be like magic to all of us. Even a trillionaire.

“Have you tried moving it to another dimension and back again?"

I honestly enjoy it. It is definitely interesting to watch how two different perspectives and knowledge of the source interact with the show and the different reviews and critiques that result.

The fact that the replacement third child is also named Donald is especially cruel. (It’s an easily-missed gag, as Jared usually goes by his middle name.)

I for one enjoyed Jared/Donald’s origin story. He was born into a family that acts like a business, and effectively got fired from the family at a young age.

I am really confused by this review. I’ve watched the first four episodes of the show now, and two of them have been entirely focused on women, with Kinnaman’s character pushed way, way into the background.

As for representation, not only do we have a gay woman astronaut, the show also addresses how people assume a

The parents play peek-a-boo with the babies to test them. If they giggle at the right time, they are the blessed Sighted.

The show also doesn’t have any sound because Apple users have evolved beyond needing the inelegant noise of air being pushed out of a mouth.

It’s not crazy at all! Something I missed, but was highlighted on Twitter is that Adrian’s castle and the structure Manhattan built on Mars look exactly the same.

Hot take: I really, really like this show.

On Saturday night, I drove from Tennessee down to Huntsville, Alabama, for a “Whose Live Anyway” show (with Dave Foley, Joel Murray, Greg Proops and Jeff Davis) at the Von Braun Center, an arena-and-theater complex downtown named for the man who was once Huntsville’s most famous resident. During the show, on the stage

Respectfully going to have to disagree. Beginning a series with an over looked massacre, examining how reparations would impact the culture, and casting a 48 year old Black woman as your super hero lead is bold.

Happy for you! Witcher 3 is still my favorite game of this console generation. I wish I could play it again for the first time.............

I like the fact that where Alan Moore’s graphic novel focussed on class issues and western imperialism globally, Lindenlof’s series seems firmly entrenched in American racial politics, a subject Moore barely touched upon. Even the Aryan undertones and glorification of Western civilization implied by Ozymandius in the

It feels like the cops with actual aliases are Crimebusters-style vigilantes that are only ever brought on when the need arises, with the exception of Looking Glass. After the one cop got shot, Don Johnson questioned whether to bring in Red Scare, and Abar obviously isn’t going on patrol or anything, she only comes in

darkest time line.

Practice.

A lot of people just really projected on Walter as an aspirational figure, so they took it as some sort of betrayal when he ended up dying with no one to mourn him.

I really wanted to like the first two seasons, but it just came across as woke Family Guy in the end. No matter how much I appreciated the compassionate perspective, the jokes never really hit for me, especially when it came to the coach character.
