“pre-exhausted”, ha! That describes it well, we know how this will go down.
Buyers of this car are going to be so pissed when Dodge brings it back for 2025.
This was pretty clearly going to be the move from day one, but I’m just as happy to see it either way. Anyone who says “this is just a dressed up civic R!” was probably born after 2000 and does not understand what the original Integra actually was.
Great call on the 1-series, but I would actually search out a 128i. Last of the naturally aspirated inline 6's and way less problematic than the N54 (or early N55) in the 135i.
Usually not a purple color guy but wow absolutely love that purple.
Some of us actually like roadsters, just sayin’
There are just SO MANY reasons why I’d pick this over the Supra. Admittedly, some of it comes from my inclination toward cruisers over screamers, but, seriously...

You know what else looks good? A sky full of undiminished stars.
I mean, if the bridge is safe enough without the lights, why are we wasting energy on lights? Nighttime’s bright enough as it is and light pollution is a real thing.

He still loves cars but could care less about learning how to drive manual on my 3-series, doesn’t bother learning about features, and so on. Hopefully as your son grows older he doesn’t…
I just sold my manual GTI and bought a manual Jeep Wrangler (which I had to custom order). Long live the manual.
We also used to joke that manual transmissions were anti-theft devices, but I don’t think it’s a joke anymore... they really are!
I’m doing my part. Have taught my 18 and 16-year-olds to drive our manual Subaru. Don’t dismiss my contribution! The 16-year-old is definitely not born to drive this car, and I (and the car) are taking our lumps teaching him. Can’t say the older kid has any specific affection for the manual, though.
Both springback and crumpling problems are the result of faster work hardening in stainless steel relative to carbon steel. The crumple zone thing is just a math problem. You can certainly account for decreased plastic energy dissipation in the structural design. But if boy wonder already had a product launch before…
