I thought I would like antimatter, but the more I’ve seen it on the Bronco Sports, the more I just call it just a black with a blue shine. It’s way too dark in my opinion and I’m totally ok with it leaving for a green. That and Bronco still has the best blue, Velocity blue ;)
I’m actually not certain what the European team is doing (I guess even if I knew, I wouldn’t be allowed to say). I just know they pulled basically all of the US engineering (the vast majority of Ford’s engineering) from the car programs and left Europe to keep the products going.
Sadly, the Maverick excitement PROVES Ford’s decision since they basically took the engineering headcount resources from the cars/hatches to design the truck. Freeing up engineering space allowed them to make this product. I’m begrudgingly admitting this as one who had money ready for the second gen Focus ST and is…
It’s like top speed runs.
I wish I could too. Just bought a house and my wife had our baby a few months ago, so I’m very down on available funds. Hopefully those who do have funds can show that support!
I doubt it too, BUT at least there is a manual in the Honda system that can handle over 300hp as long as it’s FWD: The Civic Type R transmission. I’m guessing it’ll share that drivetrain IF there is a manual for it. So at least it’s theoretically possible (unlike a manual Mazda3 with the turbo and AWD).
Haha I always forget about opposite lock... Thanks for the reminder
Not just the Toyobaru Twins and the Z, but the rumors of the Integra, and the new WRX teasers give me hope that manual transmission lovers (like myself) will have little renaissance of newish cars to choose from. Add in the cars that are already out (Golf, Hyundai N, Mustang, Camaro) and as long as you have the money…
Maybe not...
The previous 350z and 370z’s were liftbacks, and since it uses the same platform as the 370z, should be the same.
Even if it’s 3500 lbs, that’s about 300 lbs lighter than the Mustang, and 500 lbs lighter than the Challenger (only 100-150 vs the Camaro). The 400 hp should make it competitive in a straight line vs the Americans.
The owner was all excited to surf, but when they parked, saw the disappointing waves and decided to do a photoshoot instead ;)
100%. Aftermarket will probably come out with tunes on this thing relatively quickly.
Problem with the S2000 comparison is price. The 2000 Model Year S2000 was around $32000, which is over $50,000 in today’s money. That’s a Mustang Mach1 price. So having a sub $30,000 MSRP now is probably really tough and using a carryover engine (from the Ascent) rather than an all new engine (like the S2000 was) was…
Haha I’ve posted this video already in comments too!!!
This is why?
It’s probably a matter of logistics. With thousands of Ford dealers around, it would be hard to keep track of where the good tops are going and tracking the disposal of bad tops. For example, look how long it took for OEMs to take care of the Takata airbag issue. It took YEARS. It’s sad for buyers, but it’s a more…
Learned to drive manual on a convertible, so I obviously disagree with this sentiment. I’ve been fortunate to have Mustang convertibles for overnight drives from work, and having a manual totally works. In fact, it’s the one car that would convince my wife to truly learn how to drive stick (she’s now only good enough…
