I actually don’t like the Accord front end for the reason I don’t like the Civic front end. Too much going on in the grille with the chrome bar, the blacked out areas, and all sorts of geometry in between.

The new Corolla hatch seems super interesting! I bought my 3 before I test drove the car, but maybe I’ll give it spin for fun one day...
I really didn’t mind the exterior design of the older model, but with this newer one, a dark color seems the wisest. It’s a shame, because they have some neat colors on the car.
I ended going out to Maryland (from SE Michigan) on a 1 year pre-owned version for mine. It was 1 of 3 manuals I found and by far the best deal. The day I bought it, 3 other dudes where there wanting to look at it. To my local dealers credit, they had a Mazda6 that they tried to negotiate down to the level of the 3.…
I absolutely ADORE the Fiesta ST, but I also wanted a little more comfort in my cabin space. Those things are still, in my opinion, some of the most Fun per dollar cars you can get.
I’d LOVE to give a Type R a serious thought, but I just cant. I know they were intentionally going Gundam Wing on the car, but man did they go overboard...
Well compared to the Type R, a lot looks normal ;)
I’ve always been a big Honda fan (first car was a ‘95 Prelude), but I didn’t even think of this car when I was buying. That was simply due to the fact that I think it looks terrible and I’d never be caught owning one for that reason alone. I’m sure it’s great to drive and most definitely is faster than the Mazda3 I…
I wrote this in a different section of the comments, but still:
Neutral: From the Road and Track article on the Fiesta ST...
It’s like a Fiesta ST and a Nissan CrossCabriolet made love... I don’t hate it as much as I should...
Agreed. With research and maybe some patience, he could honestly buy a comparable 911 convertible replacement for that money.
Nissan Versa hands down

I convinced one of my friends with an auto focus to get rid of it and jump into a Fiesta ST. I even taught him manual just so he could buy the car. It was a major improvement :D
The Ford dealer just a mile away from the development center basically stopped selling Focuses around late 2016. They had the ST models (yay manuals), but basically none of the automatics on the lot. The dealer I was talking with said it’s because they sell to people who have family who work for Ford and everyone was…
Sadly, my budget is telling me that cars like the Fiesta ST are basically the only attainable fun cars I can have for now ;)
The Lexus structural blue apparently gets its color from the microscopic structure and not pigment, so technically, that would change with the different wavelength of light it was under...
