Very true. I’ve actually also snuck my way into the Mustang design studio and saw some early designs of the next Mustang :D

I’d argue Macan.
Sorry. I’ll come back and report to you no later than 11/18 ;)
“Lost to Tesla”
I’m pretty anti-crossover, but even after seeing the pre-production units being built up, I’m totally ok with it and hope the market like it.
You know, I honestly can’t remember... I saw it a month ago (I was even under it for goodness sake) and I honestly can’t remember. I want to say yes, but it wasn’t what stuck with me (I don’t want to say what aspects did in case someone in HR considers insider knowledge or something stupid).
Based on the timeline, I think it’s going to be revealed either right before or at the Detroit Auto Show next June. The Baby Bronco will probably be announced before it too, I suspect.
I’ve seen it and it really doesn’t look bad. More hatchback-y than CUV-y in my opinion. I think it should have a decent reception.
That’s why I recommended to modify the fascia too.
Want to hear something to make you even more angry? Marketing says that this car was designed by Ford Performance, but the only thing they had to do with it was setting the list of DNA requirements (which the base program engineers proceeded to not meet) and that’s it. The biggest difference between this car and the…
@Ford announced the Europe/China Puma and everyone in the US was asking why the crap didn’t we bring that over instead of the Ecosport. It was really funny to see how even the internal employees don’t love the Ecosport and would rather have something else...
Heck, you can get the MKX (or Nautilus) version of the same car with same drivetrain for only a few grand MSRP difference. The interior is way better in the Lincoln (and sound insulation too).
The pre-refresh Sport models are selling for 30k’s with hardly any miles. For that price, I feel it’s a pretty enticing vehicle. I got to drive one for work for quite a while and it was a fun SUV and wouldn’t mind it if I was forced into that SUV life.
So my brother was able to get a 2 year old off lease Edge Sport for around 35k (if I remember correctly). At that price, with low mileage, it’s a great car that I’d recommend to anyone looking for a spacious, 2 row, quick SUV.
I can say from Ford, and as one who worked in the Mustang team who sent you guys the cars you reviewed, we definitely don’t do anything special to the cars that you guys get. They are simply the highest specced car in the criteria that are requested. We sometimes have a car or two comparable ones and just send the one…
I’ve seen a couple of Blue FoST’s with the blue inserts and it really works well. It really is a shame they cost saved that away. We need more interesting interior options other than all black...
I’d like to think so too :D
