Just imagine the Republicans trying to twist themselves in knots to not vote to impeach and convict.
Just imagine the Republicans trying to twist themselves in knots to not vote to impeach and convict.
And House Dems moving forward with impeachment next week, maybe as early as Monday. Gonna be hilarious (in a sad, pathetic way) watching Republicans try to justify voting against it.
Yeah my big issue is that I do want to be able to check Google Maps and have some basic web browsing functions. I’ll probably just end up going with a pretty cheap smartphone going forward. We’ll see I guess.
Definitely Antifa instigators. Definitely not Trumpers.
I’ve really been considering going back to a flip phone. Am I a drug dealer?
After weeks of saying they're gonna riot, they will then claim it was actually antifa.
There’s literally nothing Pelosi or anyone in Congress can do to invoke the 25th. They can ask, that’s all.
But I thought these were actually Antifa infiltrators pretending to be Trumpers??????
Yeah, because they already checked them in an automated process. Republicans had 2 months to find faults. They found none. And yet you want to blame the people who didn’t become violent or attempt to overthrow democracy.
Georgia conducted an audit. Found absolutely no issues.
Signature and address verification are done. It’s called the certification process.
Parents after 8 year-old loses baseball game: “We love you. You are very special.”
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnn
Every state did an audit. It’s called certification...Georgia had 2 recounts including a hand recount. Not even Trump’s lawyers claimed fraud in court.
I don’t think we’re headed for Civil War right now or anything. But what conservatives are making “acceptable” is basically ending democracy. And Dems aren’t going to stop them. In the name of civility or some shit.
Something like 18 Republican Attorneys General an numerous high ranking Republicans attempted to argue that the Vice President has the power to throw out Electoral College votes he/she didn’t want to be counted. Something like 120 House Republicans and 1/4 of Senate Republicans want to throw out the votes of people…
By next time I meant 2024. Or ‘28.
The day those 2 are sworn in they need to stack the docket with all the liberal judges for confirmation. All.of.Them.
My concern is that the next time conservatives have both the Senate and House (which, honestly, will be soon thanks to gerrymandering and midterms), they won’t hesitate to try to overthrow the election. The only reason McConnell didn’t support this coup is he knew the House wouldn’t go for it.
So I got a big promotion confirmed today! Feels weird to be incredibly happy and also sad at the continued downfall of democracy in the US.
