No prosecutors couldn’t do that. That would be the equivalent of someone going to jail for a crime, getting released, and then arrested and tried again for the same crime but slightly different charges.

The saddest part is the bribery probably isn’t even that great. Like, no one is giving them a “laundry” bag filled with cash. It’s like trading favors and hoping for insider info.

The NBA did a very good job. But they also had a short-term bubble where they could pretty strictly control everything. That’s not going to be the case once this season starts. I still think they’ll do better than the NFL. But it’s going to be rough.

Polio and smallpox didn’t achieve herd immunity naturally because people avoided getting it. You’d have to ACTIVELY try to get everyone infected to achieve herd immunity.

Oh herd immunity can absolutely happen without a vaccine. The cost is just insanely high. Just some basic numbers:
