Right and David Lynch wasn't gonna be a part of the new Twin Peaks. Negotiating in public, folks.

Amazed no one's mentioned Saulnier's last movie, Blue Ruin yet. Seriously guys, go watch Blue Ruin.

*Commence gushing*
Guys he has one scene in Joshy and he's amazing in it. I was stupid lucky and got to go to Sundance and saw it there so I'm gonna be talking about this movie for a while. Great, great stuff.

Only way I'll forgive this is if Spacey-as-cat breaks out his Walken impression while talking to real Walken

Good for Kanye, hiring displaced War Boy refugees to be his models.

I guess the Kid just wasn't…. cudding it.

Any man who can make the line "I just fucked your bitch in some Gucci flip flops" land is okay in my book

Yeah, obviously Motörhead.

MPDG Alert. Somebody call Rabin.

So great. He did that the first two times he hosted. The third time he hosted I was counting on it but I'm sure they told him "please don't pull that Hoobastank shit again." Lorne was ready to cut someone I'm sure if he did it again.

If we're using Hand of God as an example of "tries real damn hard to be prestige TV but whiffs in every conceivable way," we can't forget the original Peak TV Fuck-Up that was Low Winter Sun.

This! I bring this up every time I can but male rock is on life support and women are running shit. St. Vincent, Alabama Shakes, and Against Me (no, really) are putting out great female-front rock music too.

Courtney's lyrics are amazing throughout that entire album. "Depreston" is the showstopper imo but Dead Fox is witty and great too.

The horns at the end of "Baby Blue" might be the highlight of Mark Ronson's career.

Kendrick's "Alright" is by far the best song of the year in my ears (the Pharrell beat! that Thundercat outro!) but Brusie's right, SK's "A New Wave" is undeniable. Watching them perform it live will make your heart soar.

Coming from a huge fan of Innerspeaker and Lonerism, Currents was a tremendous let down for me. I've listened to it plenty and it definitely wouldn't crack my personal Top 15

Can we please talk about the Tom Delonge poster in Nathan's office?

I got super into Wolf Parade's first album. Great, wild, one of a kind stuff

Funnier when it was making the rounds FOUR years ago, Internet.
