“The rule should be: Yield to faster traffic. Full stop.”

Just watched it on HBO and came to figure this car out also. Very nice.

This song is very apt for me today.

What I find most curious is that for someone who tweets out a “Thank You!” hourly to every other person he sees, he didn’t tweet out the letter revoking Uber’s testing. And has /barely/ even mentioned the whole incident on Twitter.

But... But... Is this about one of Tracy’s projects? How am I supposed to know that without the required misleading low dollar amount in the title?

I haven’t watched the video (no thanks), but what I’ve read, this seems like a good take.

The companies want money. That’s it.

Someone mentioned NYC is like that, but I’m not convinced that is the case everywhere.

I read the article. Those are not conclusions. The investigation is ongoing. It’s why I gave 2 ‘If’ statements.

Yes, and that’s a problem with therminology. These are not actually “self driving”. It’s why the permits still require a driver.

Ya. Everyone fucks up on the job. Any human drivers can be terrible. And they should be held accountable. Same with anyone paid to drive these vehicles.

I’m not waiting for them to be perfect (but better than now), but I see how my sentence can be read that way. My appologies.

That’s an argument against the Teslas, sure. But /these/ people are not random people. They were hired, trained, paid. If they fail on the job, as many career regular drivers do also, then they are culable.

Was this response to me? It depends on the inputs provided. All inputs equal, none.

It’s their job. It’s required via permit. They are still culpable.

It’s their job. It’s why they are required to be there still. These versions are not fully autonomous vehicles.

A human was at the wheel and did not stop it either.

“And why didn’t the safety operator at the wheel respond in time?”

I read the article and majority of comments.
