Older Volvos used Class 4 handles as well.

Hey, speak for your own damn Volvo. My engine bay knows no fear.

I support this idea too, mainly just because the idea of trying to read a horrifically (and possibly hysterically) butchered article in google translate amuses me.

I mean, if he doesn’t have to quit his day job....

*bawls*

As the only person in my apartment who doesn’t play Pokemon, it’s a good thing this is a fake. The last thing the world needs is a car that you can play Pokemon on. I’m perfectly happy to drive while other people play, but I will not change my driving style or do anything out of the ordinary.

For $1200-1400, I’d say NP and it could be a fun project car. Any more than about $1600, Yugo back home and vote CP.

You know... I already commute in a car with a hard suspension and no AC in the summer. This doesn’t seem like a huge leap.

I am excite.

That’s a whole lot less fun though :P

Well that’s not a great way to deal with it. Sure, cut an engine in the block and rip the ECU out, but they could totally sell the rest of the car. Why waste it?

Well, at the end of the day, it’d be up to you to get it to pass inspection in your state. For me, it’d have to pass emissions since the car would be less than 15 years old.

How about a program where you can buy said buyback cars for cheap with no engine? The cheating diesel engines are off the road, VW recoups some money, and we get a whole bunch of really nice cheap (albeit engineless) cars to build into whatever wonderful monstrosities our crazy little minds dream up.

See, I’m looking at it a different way. If I were to buy this car, I’d treat it like my current car: all the maintenance done by myself. More painful? Absolutely. More fun and cheaper (at least for me)? Almost certainly.

I LIVE this. I only can unlock my car with a key. And you know what? I’m OK with that.

And that says it right there. I have no issue with stanced cars, so long as they’re parked. The second they’re on the roadway, I have a major issue with them, namely due to the fact that they tend to be hugely unsafe.

I’m desperately trying to talk myself out of doing anything related to bushings today, because I know that I’ll get in too deep and need a press, and I don’t have access to one today because of the holiday.

I dunno. A 1980s Volvo is pretty close.

God damn, those clouds look amazing. Nice shot

To the parents’ house for the weekend. Nice to get out of the city and closer to the ocean.
