She was great, not just for the gripping scene at the end but all of it. The way she looks when she finds the cup with the bullet hole you know she’s mad that he lied. Then when he freaks out with the juicer you can tell she’s thinking that maybe he didn’t lie so much as he just can’t talk about it yet.  Then she gets

Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler as written by Gould/Gilligan writing room has become one of the more enigmatic female characters I’ve seen portrayed - she is such a great character, her motivations are sometimes opaque and yet always believably depicted - tonight was a rare example of Kim expressing her motivation via

Kim’s reaction when he called her was heartwarming for me. Almost swoon worthy. It’s not just a business arrangement- she really does love him! After siing the cup, when Kim genuinely wanted to know what happened- with no judgement- and Jimmy still lied, (and she knows it) that’s the heartbreak. Goddamnit, Jimmy...

I’m not sure which part was more heartbreaking, Kim worrying about Saul and the relief she felt after he called her, Kim seeing the coffee cup with the bullet hole, or Kim almost breaking down and giving Saul that look after Lalo left.

Loved the action sequence at the end with Angela.  And it was a nice touch that when she presses the accelerator the car whines instead of revs, since they drive electric cars in the Watchmen universe.

As someone who actually knows what the hell is happening, I can’t stop being bothered by the inaccuracies.

Now playing

It should have been mentioned in the article that this skit is a sequel to this other SNL Skit that Chance did.

I literally said this once when watching Overwatch gameplay haha.

As with so many kinja posts, this one is longer than it needs to be.

While I’m sure blurring the names took some time, I imagine it’s still faster and easier than the alternative. To capture your own footage, you would need to take 10 writers/crew members away from their jobs they have extremely limited time to do during the week to play LoL. Chances are that none of them know strategy

Solid post. I think you probably could have cut a sentence or so out. (Probably choose between “Beating a dead horse by the end...” and “A good chunk of the beginning...”) You also don’t need the ‘imo’. The reader knows it’s your opinion.

Ugh come on. Print the goddamn thing.

The people who think autoplay video is a good way to force people to watch their ads will burn in everlasting hell. The ones who think disabling the pause or mute buttons while the ad plays is an even better idea need their fingernails pulled out very, very slowly while still alive.

Man, I’d really love to know what Larry has to say about all of those roles! BY READING ABOUT IT IN AN ARTICLE.

Oof. I’m never gonna knowingly click on another Yong Yea video again. But like I said, taken in context, I don’t think it was fairplay to use the clickbaity article titles. The content of the articles was fine. And ultimately Randy’s admittance of where he messsed up in the communication was good. I’m not relaly fond

Mostly a lot of this reporting has been out of context. For whatever Randy is/isn’t I thought his messaging was quite clear when you heard all of it. Which the press at the event did. Click through for the thread:

He said plain as day that they would have things like DLC expansions and heads/skins. Direct purchase items like they’ve done before. Not loot boxes that give out RNG items with little chance of getting what you want. Maybe there’s a gray line as to what is considered a micro transaction but to me they are pay to win

I’ve been a huge fan of Hader’s since since the SNL days and think Barry is one of the best shows on TV, but Hader’s got a slightly off-center intensity that I think will limit his mainstream appeal.

Bryan Cranston has entered the chat

Hader definitely has the chops for drama. The look he had last week when Sam showed up is even scarier now that I’ve seen the same look as he killed that innocent villager in Korengal.
