This is the one episode I would feel confident about if I were a contestant. I have never once successfully made risen bread, but my pie crust always turns out well.

To me Steph just seems quiet and serious. As a kid I was accused of being a bitch or stuck up because I was quiet and serious. If someone put me on tv with the extra layer of awkwardness and editing, i’m sure I would look like an alien having to interact with humans. 

The expansions are fun, but you don’t need them. The game is fun on its own.

The Satanists have been a mixed blessing. On the one hand they did capture and sacrifice my idiot heir, thus allowing my genius daughter to inherit instead. However, once you go down that road its hard to get out of the cult. 

I do think Roach is one of the most accurate horses in games though. He’ll get scared of things, won’t go places that he doesn’t feel like, and if you get off his back he’ll immediately wander away to eat grass.

Is that a controversial stance? I’ll tip if I’m ordering something that took preparation, but if someone is handing me something then no. If its a simple coffee that they just had to pour out, or a premade food item, then that isn’t something that merits tipping. 

No, its not a thing. Although, when I was a cashier there was this one very sweet, super old woman who would come through the store. Every time she would insist on leaving a quarter for the cashier, so that they could go out and treat themselves and friends to a soda. 

I generally hate adults using baby talk words, tummy, veggies, etc. That goes double for when they involve sex, calling sex playing, or sexy-time is an instant 100% turn off. 

He’s right. I’ve started having to bring earplugs to the movies. Even dramas and comedies are way, way too loud. Because all the theaters are blasting the sound, it means you can also hear what’s happening in the movies on either side too.

Henry was extra cute this time. Of course precious baby Henry has only ever been to a book festival. I relate, music festivals are one of those things that sound fine in theory, but I know I would be 100% sick of it after a couple hours, less if the weather was bad. 

Its hard to imagine that the early layers stay that nice after going under a broiler 6 times. But maybe thats why they add jelly, to soften it back up.

I did appreciate how relaxed it was this episode, with everyone joking around.

Wegmans store brand stuff is generally pretty good. The one downside of living in NYC (other than the noise and pee/garbage smell in the summer) after growing up Upstate is the lack of easy access to Wegmans. I’m so ready for the Brooklyn location to open.

I like the filling, but I still say meringue is unsatisfying as a desert, just too much plain sugar.

One of my cats really likes butternut and pumpkin.

David is the one I can’t warm up to. To me his default facial expression is so fake and smug looking. I acknowledge that this is my weird thing. 

It would have been nice if everyone had some, like last season when everyone wore a Hawaiian shirt for Jon.

I will never accept meringues as a proper dessert. It is okay when its the soft variety paired with a tart pie filling. But those crunchy ones? No. Crunchy egg whites and sugar is a terrible dessert.

The first thing I always do is make sure that when I press left, the camera turns left and not right, same with up and down.
