Lol fuck that, the article is about the takedown of the TAS ROM hack guys, and that is a decision that does make business sense for the reasons I spoke of. All that other shit isn’t relevant to this.
This isn’t all of YouTubers, this specific takedown is affecting only the pretty small (and therefore pretty voiceless) community of people that make ROM-hacks of Mario games and TAS those ROM-hacks. What they’ll lose in publicity or opinion from the loss or outcry of that community they’ll gain back (or so it seems…
