That was really awesome. To date there is no FPS like Doom. Singleplayer, fast-paced, action driven, instead of the slower atmospheric modern FPS. Those are good too, but I would like to see a modern take on Doom-style too.

I see a lot of smart moves here. Juicy, demo, updates, good coverage. Fans were already dishearted and skeptical about this game, now they are masterfully using this demo to build a fan base while finishing the game.

I friend of mine always argued with me that lack of mounts and flying mounts on Guild Wars 2 was a terrible flaw. And I always argumented that mounts would pretty much render useless one of the coolest mechanics of the game, map exploration. Oh and also, jumping puzzles.

It’s designed to be player using mouse, but I don’t know if I would be able to reach such speed and precision with a common one. If you are skilled with a drawing table it’s a smart move to try this game with it since it’s so much faster.
