Actually it’s because it’s counter-intuitive to look at the screen while putting your signal on and check your left blind-spot. Source: talked to one of the engineers about this.

Complained about CVT for the longest time. Got a MY17 Civic LX (CDN) 2 weeks ago and barely notice it over a regular auto.

I am okay with this.
