There is always a C-Span.
There is always a C-Span.
You know what Andy Reid finds even more enticing than Tony Romo’s busted ribs?
He really does deserve the opportunity to break something else.
It was only a failure because they didn’t stay all up in the post-Antebellum South’s shit for the next 20-30 years like they should have. They let all the white supremacists worm their way back into power and create a shadow state and basically left Southern blacks to live under the American equivalent of apartheid…
It is pretty interesting. With the current demographics and historic baggage of baseball, I’m not surprised. And the NFL has clearly thrown its hat in the ring with the Murica crowd. Basketball is different from both of those sports. It has always had to be far more inclusive for the sport to progress to what it is…
I’ve never liked basketball, really. I’ve always been more into baseball and football.
POPOVICH 2020
No. It feels like Reconstruction was a failure and the Civil War never actually ended, tbh.
Can Democrats draft Popovich to run for Cruz’s Senate seat in 2018?
Good thing Pop said this, because if a black person said it white people would be FURIOUS! #whiteprivilege
Here’s all you need to know... GOP on poor rural whites: “we’ll bring back your jobs!” GOP on poor urban blacks: “get an education and work harder!”
I think you mean a lot more white sports figures. Because Kaepernick and Lebron didn’t exactly get much love when they expressed their opinions.
I ran into him a few years ago in DC. He was in town for the ceremony at the WH after their last chip. I honestly couldn’t believe it was him. He was with his family, so i caught him walking back from the restroom. I just wanted to let him know he’s a national treasure. He was really gracious. What an exceptional…
I know next to nothing about him but I’m pretty amazed every time I read an article about his thoughts on politics and social issues. It’s not just lip service, but ACTUALLY well reasoned, well thought out, incredibly easy to understand, and he’s not afraid to be blunt when there’s cause to be, AND he’s incredibly…
Don’t forget Stan Van Gundy. He was the first NBA coach to speak out, he gave props to all the Pistons families who marched after Inauguration, and he launched into another round after the refugee ban.
He’s more insightful and better prepared off-the-cuff than Trump is reading a prepared statement.
We need more sports figures to speak out against the orange menace, because let’s face it: a LOT of people that watch/follow sports either voted for him or are completely oblivious to the shitshow that’s going on in our country right now. So good for Pop and Steve Kerr, and fuck Goodell for dodging these issues.
I think it’s easiest explained with a baseball metaphor.
There are very few people in the sports world that I respect more then Gregg Popovich. Thank’s for spreading the message Patrick, I hope it can reach those that don’t already agree.
